Abstract

The unbound journal contains Dayle N. Husted's field notes from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in 1964. Interspersed with personal journal entries are Husted's observations of birds on the Southeast coast of Hawaii. Several species are mentioned including Sooty Tern, Wedge-tailed shearwater, Noddy Tern, and Storm Petrel. Notes include collector field numbers 0530-1732.
