Abstract

This folder includes 9 maps, kept and annotated by Remington Kellogg, circa 1913-1930. The maps probably correspond to field work conducted in corresponding locations. The contents are listed as follows: (1) Hand-colored map of the state of California, undated, showing distribution of Microtus Californias; (2) Hand-colored map of Mexico, undated; (3) U.S. Base map, 1919, depicting: Eocene, Oligocene, Miocene, and Pliocene shorelines; (4) Hand-colored map of Mexico, printing date 1916, showing distribution of scaphiophus; (5) Map of the Western Theatre of War, 1919, France, depicting routes (annotated in ink or paint) and a handwritten list of localities; (6) Map of Oregon, undated, annotated to show Oregon whale location; (7) Map of Ravenel (SC), 1920, annotated in ink with localities; (8) Map of Southern Nigeria to accompany report by Jas. J .Simpson, shows distribution of genus glossina, 1913; (9) Map of Chocktaw County, Alabama.
