PrintThis folder contains a typed specimen record and map of the first cruise of the Caroline, January-March 1933. The specimen report is typed on carbon paper with ink annotations. Entries include: tin tag numbers, date, name of object (fish, mollusk, mud, worms, etc.), locality. Also included in the folder is a map of the dredging and sounding stations of the first Johnson-Smithsonian Deep-Sea Expedition, under director Paul Bartsch, 1933. The map depicts Puerto Rico and Hispaniola.
