Abstract

This item consists of field data record sheets from field work conducted on the Walther Herwig research vessel in 1971. Field work occurred at stations between Mar del Plata (Argentina), Cape Town (South Africa), and Madeira (Portugal). Additional localities include: Tristan da Cuntia, Gough islands, St. Helena, Ascension Islands, Cape Verde Islands, and Bremerhaven (Germany). Station numbers 348/71 through 512/71 are included. Data sheet field entries include: date, time, collector, station number, latitude, longitude, depth water, depth capture, method capture, general notes.
