Abstract

This book includes the notes of Remington Kellogg, Medical Department Central Laboratory, American Expeditionary Forces. The notes are undated but were probably created circa 1918 when Kellogg went to France to serve in World War I. Includes miscellaneous notes, class notes, addresses, and clippings. Also includes lists of specimens (frogs, salamanders, lizards, and snakes) collected at Foret de Russy (near Blois), France. Entries are numbered 1 through 126, and include scientific or common name and date. Some include what is possibly the French name. Two illustrations (portrait of a man and woman, respectively) are included and signed Remington Kellogg. Also includes a sketched political cartoon.
