Abstract

The field notes document C. O. Handley's field work in Tennessee, 1961. Includes typed and hand written entries. Handwritten notes include dated bird counts. Sometimes these detail location or observed behaviors. Typed notes cover journal entries and mammal notes in Virginia, June 16 - 30, 1961. These cover collecting activities, interactions with and descriptions of local inhabitants, specimen collecting of Handley and Rhymer, vegetation, and terrain.
