Abstract

This item consists of the photocopied field notes and species catalog of C. Douglas Hackman from his work for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in 1964 and 1965. Field notes include bird observation and collection activities as well as observation and collection of fish, squid, and insects. Baker, McKean, Gardner, Howland, Hull, Birnie, Enderbury, and Jarvis are among the islands visited during field work.
