Abstract

This item consists of the photocopied field notes of Robert R. Fleet, creating during his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in 1963 and 1964. The field notes document his observations of birds and landscape of several Hawaiian islands including Kapapa, Mokolii, Mokuauia, and Popoia. Hand drawn maps are included for several islands. The notes also document his bird banding activities, and some plant specimen collection. Several lists of banded birds are included, ranging from 02026-60505.
