Print[Specimen?] labels of Joseph Rock for birds collected in Likiang [current: Lijiang?] Snow Range (in Yunnan) and possibly other Chinese localities. Most labels are dated 1923, although labels from the previous or follow year may be found. Labels are divided into 8 envelopes, each containing approximately 100 [USNM catalog ?] numbers. Information on each label may include collector number (two numbers: one possibly collector number, the other, possibly catalog number), sex, date, locality, elevation, physical description (including colors), and additional notes.
