Abstract

This item includes photocopied field notes and data collection sheets of Richard S. Crossin documenting work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey during October 1968. Numerous checklists indicate bird species observed. Data sheets indicate bird nesting observations for Blue-Faced Booby, Brown Booby, Bulwer's Petrel, Red-Tailed Tropicbirds, and White-Throated Storm Petrel. Field notes include sequential narrative entries describing bird observation activities. One entry describes observed behaviors of Green Sea Turtles. Geographic coordinates are indicated on several data sheets and field note entries. Most of the work seems to have been completed on data and notes were completed on McKean Island.
