Abstract

This folder contains two black-and-white photographs from cruise 15 of the research vessel Crawford. The photographs both appear to depict two fish, one smaller and one larger, on the deck of a ship; one of the photographs is labeled "flyingfish in Gempylus stomach." It also has the labels OA23187 and P3. Also in this folder are pieces of paper with specimen collection information on them, including date, cruise and station numbers, position, collectors, and name and number of fish collected. These sheets are from various cruises, primarily of the Crawford, including cruises 7, 10, 15, and 16, and are for collections made in 1956 and 1957. These sheets may not have been recorded in the field. Localities are given as geographic coordinates and appear to be primarily in various parts of the Atlantic Ocean.
