Abstract

This field book details Alexander Wetmore's field work with birds from 1902-1904. Localities include areas within Wisconsin. Dated entries relate Wetmore's adolescent observations of birds, and contain such information as species, sex, molt, calls, terrain, activity, and habits. Most of the information consists of detailed listening, observing, and interacting notes, as well as notes on hunting and collecting of specimens. There are also some bird lists with numbers and other relevant information.
