Abstract

This field book details Alexander Wetmore's field work with birds from 1894-1901. Localities include Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Florida. Dated entries relate Wetmore's childhood observations of birds, and contain such information as species, sex, molt, calls, terrain, activity, and habits. Most of the information consists of detailed listening, observing, and interacting notes. There are also some bird lists with numbers and other relevant information.
