PrintThis is a field journal and species account by Joe T. Marshall, detailing his field work with birds, especially Pipilo (Towhees) during 1960. The journal dates from January 2 - February 19, 1960, although the species account has a much wider range. Entries detail accounts of observing and collecting birds in such areas within Arizona. Journal pages are numbered 1-11. Following are species accounts, generally organized by species and containing dates and specific localities, as well as accounts of different occasions of observing and collecting animals, along with other relevant information. There are bird sketches, as well as sketched and printed maps.
