Abstract

This folder contains research notes and other documents related to fish collections made from cruise 17 of the research vessel Chain on the Atlantic Ocean in 1961. Included are lists of fishes collected at stations IKT [Isaacs-Kidd midwater trawl?] 4-9, and RHB [Richard H. Backus?] 800-813. Collections were made between 2 April and 11 May 1961. Stomiatoid identifications were by R.H. Gibbs, Jr. Also in the folder are a map of station locations and a letter dated 15 October 1962 regarding species determinations and manuscript preparation.
