Some notes on specimens caught are included (type and quantities of fish or other marine life such as crustaceans, urchins, worms, and mollusks). Localities are not listed in this volume, but the albatross was known to be between San Francisco to the Bering Sea region at this time (based on the history of the ship's activities).
