Abstract

This field specimen catalog details the collecting of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians by Joe T. Marshall from 1949-1996. Localities include but are not limited to the United States, Mexico, Thailand, the Philippines, Nepal, Indonesia, and Burma (Myanmar). The catalog is organized by date and ascending collection number and contains entries which may include any or all of the following information: specific locality, sex, fat, molt, weight, physical measurements, coloring, stomach contents, terrain, and altitude. There are also a number of animal sketches and one color photograph of an owl. The collection numbers range from 3851-7352, with some numbers absent.
