Abstract

This is a field journal by Joe T. Marshall, detailing his field work with birds from January 24 - April 9, 1978. Dated entries detail accounts of observing and collecting birds in areas of Mexico, including the state of Chiapas. Information included are times, altitudes, weather conditions, terrain and forest descriptions, bird lists with species and numbers, and sketched maps of specific localities. The pages are numbered 1-56a. There are also bird sketches and an itinerary.
