Abstract

This folder contains field notes and stations lists from cruise 8 of the Anton Bruun for the International Indian Ocean Expedition (IIOE) in 1963. The station list has fields sta. no., date 1964, type gear, position, depth - meters, and start time. Stations number from 393 to 421I; dates are from 25 September to 8 November 1964. Gear/collection method includes shrimp trawl, Okelman dredge, plankton net, deep line, and others. Field notes (photocopies) are written on data sheets and date from 25 September to 8 November 1964. Station numbers span from 393A to 421ZZ; sheets also include what may be collector numbers, from LK64-19 to LK64-109. They list name and number of fish collected.
