Abstract

This item is a ornithological species list created in 1996 by Richard Chandler as part of the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey. The list includes collector's field numbers (009-038) and an additional range of identifiers (F.N.2260-2480). It also includes geographical coordinates that place areas of observation in the Pacific Ocean between Johnston Atoll and Howland Island and at Baker Island, McKean Atoll, and Enderbury Atoll. Entries include collector field number, another identifier, date, coordinates, and description. Descriptive text includes sex and physical appearance. Some entries indicate whether blood was taken or stomach saved. The species list is comprised of several unbound pages.
