Abstract

This is a field journal and species account by Joe T. Marshall, detailing his field work with birds from January 3 - December 24, 1965. Dated journal entries detail accounts of observing and collecting birds in such areas as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Information included are times, altitudes, weather conditions, terrain and forest descriptions, and bird lists with species. The pages are numbered 1-83. The following species account is organized by species and contains dates and specific localities, as well as accounts of different occasions of observing and collecting birds in Thailand. Altitudes and numbers of birds are recorded, and there are some bird sketches and mammal information as well. There is also a bird checklist with marks noting some species.
