Abstract

This item consists of photocopied field notes taken by David L. Burckhalter in 1967 as part of his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey. The notes include sequential entries that document his observations of birds on Southeast Island, Pearl and Hermes Reef, and Lisianski Island. There are references to several bird species including Albatross and Blue-faced Boobies. Also included is a sheet of data on Christmas Island Shearwaters.
