Abstract

This binder contains a record of station data for cruises 31-A, 31-B, 31-C, and 31-D of the Albatross III from 16 January to 19 February 1950. Fields include station [number], tow no., date, start position, finish position, depth, and tag nos. Positions are in the vicinity of 34° N, 76° W, in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of North Carolina. Stations on cruises 31-A and 31-B were dredged with a 1.5" Iceland trawl. Stations are numbered 1-24 for cruise 31-A; 1-22 for cruise 31-B; A,B, and 1-13 for cruise 31-C; and A and 1-6 for cruise 31-D. Tag numbers are approximately in the range of 14499 to 14624.
