PrintThis is a field journal by Joe T. Marshall, detailing his field work with birds in Arizona from January 2 - June 1, 1952. Dated entries detail accounts of observing and collecting birds throughout Arizona and some areas of California. Information included are times, altitudes, weather conditions, terrain and forest descriptions, bird lists with species and numbers, and sketched maps of specific localities. These maps are interspersed throughout the journal, and serve to show details of some observation sites. There are also some bird sketches and some of the note pages are typed. The pages are numbered 1-68.
