Abstract

This item consists of an album of black-and-white photographs taken while Charles Branch Wilson worked at the Johns Hopkins University's marine laboratory at Port Antonio, Jamaica in 1897. Localities include but may not be limited to Port Antonio, Kingston, Port Royal, and Spanish Town. The photographs depict many different scenes, including shots of people, buildings, trees, plants, landscapes, bodies of water, villages, and boats. Photos are generally accompanied by captions identifying their specific location.
