Abstract

This item consists of 82 black-and-white photographs taken while Charles Branch Wilson worked at the Johns Hopkins University's marine laboratory at Port Antonio, Jamaica in 1897. The photographs depict many different scenes, including shots of people, buildings, trees, plants, landscapes, bodies of water, villages, boats, an octopus, and a crustacean. Some of the photos have captions on the back, and they are arranged in plastic protective sleeves.
