Abstract

This is a black-and-white photograph taken while Charles Branch Wilson worked at the Johns Hopkins University's marine laboratory at Port Antonio, Jamaica in 1897. The photograph depicts a native village with a number of small leaf-covered huts, and some cocoanut palm which appear to be windblown.
