Abstract

This is a black-and-white photograph taken while Charles Branch Wilson worked at the Johns Hopkins University's marine laboratory at Port Antonio, Jamaica in 1897. The photograph depicts a coffee plantation and residence in the suburbs of Kingston. The coffee plants can be seen on the hillside, along with a number of larger trees. There are stone walls in the foreground.
