Abstract

This is a black-and-white photograph taken while Charles Branch Wilson worked at the Johns Hopkins University's marine laboratory at Port Antonio, Jamaica in 1897. The photograph depicts a field of pineapple plants (presumably a plantation) with two buildings and a windmill in the background. There are some other large trees visible, and a hill in the distance.
