Abstract

This is a black-and-white photograph taken while Charles Branch Wilson worked at the Johns Hopkins University's marine laboratory at Port Antonio, Jamaica in 1897. The photograph was presumably taken at Hope Gardens in Kingston and depicts a full coffee tree with many berries on it. Other trees are visible in the background, as is the edge of a pool.
