Abstract

This is a black-and-white photograph taken while Charles Branch Wilson worked at the Johns Hopkins University's marine laboratory at Port Antonio, Jamaica in 1897. The photograph depicts two men sitting on a bench underneath a sprawling mango tree, which is leaden with fruit. Other shrubs are visible, as is a horse and carriage in the background.
