This field book consists of the field notes of Stephen A. Smith from a trip to Peru in 1989. Entries include: collector number, scientific name, physical description (plant height, fruit appearance, flower color, etc.). Collector numbers 1300 through 1622 are included. Localities include: Tambopata Reserve Zone, Hartshorn Plot, Swamp Trail, Laguna Chica Trail, Main Trail, and several numbered plots. Entries in several pages in the front of the book are crossed out. Co-collectors included Deborah A. Bell, James U. McClammer Jr., Frank O. Smith, and Martin E. Timara.
