Abstract

This box of field notes details the field work of Philip S. Humphrey with birds in Brazil from July 2 - September 1, 1965 on a series of 5"x7" cards. Dated entries may include any or all of the following information: number, name, locality, preparation, time, net or shot, net number, height, shelf, from, habitat, iris, gape, feet, mouth lining, skull, cl. prot., bill, molt (wing, tail, body), gonads, skull ossification, weight, blood sample taken, plasma number, and serology. Also included are some mammal and reptile specimens. Catalog numbers range from 199001-199925 and 31500-33481.
