Abstract

The title page of this volume reads "Mississippi field trip, part of 1933 investigations." It consists of S.F. Hildebrand's notes recorded during field work in Mississippi in 1933. One section of notes is dated 22 April to 26 May 1933; these entries include measurements of fish primarily from a market in Vicksburg, as well as narrative notes on activities and conversations with fishermen. The volume also includes a list of localities, a list of field research activities, a list of supplies, records of expenses and prices, records of film exposures, and contact information for several individuals.
