One section of notes is dated 22 April to 26 May 1933; these entries include measurements of fish primarily from a market in Vicksburg, as well as narrative notes on activities and conversations with fishermen. The volume also includes a list of localities, a list of field research activities, a list of supplies, records of expenses and prices, records of film exposures, and contact information for several individuals.
