Abstract

This volume contains field records of collections made in Louisiana in 1955 and 1956, recorded by W. R. Taylor. It is a portion (part 2 of 3) of a set of fish collection notes of William R. Taylor from 1953 to 1956. Each sheet records collections made at one locality on one day. Information on each sheet includes locality, collector, date, method of collection, and a list of the name and number of each species collected. Primary collectors are W.R. Taylor and fishery crew. Localities include rivers, lakes, creeks, bayous, and other water bodies in Louisiana, such as Ouachita River and Bayou D'Arbonne. Sheets are numbered from La 55-31b to La 56-54b.
