Abstract

This item consists of a box of index cards with typed and handwritten notes on birds by Stuart T. Danforth, circa 1915-1925. Localities include but may not be limited to the United States, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, and Venezuela. The box is separated into two sections. In the first section cards are organized by family and generally include date, locality, sex, number observed, and other specifics relating to observation. Localities and dates range widely. The second section contains cards relating only to a trip to Desengano Lagoon, Puerto Rico in 1924. These are organized by date and contain general bird observation notes.
