Abstract

This item consists of field notes on a number of small cards by Charles Branch Wilson. Notes are related to the study of copepods in Lake Erie and surrounding waterways from 1928-1929. Localities include but may not be limited to the state of New York and the Canadian province of Ontario. Notes may include station numbers and lists of species of copepods with tallies, numbers, and percentages. The type of net used (surface or bottom) and the bulk weight may also be listed, as well as rarities of certain species and occasionally sexes. There are also a number of longer entries describing certain species and their appearance in various localities.
