Abstract

This item consists of a box of index cards with typed information on species of birds collected by Melbourne A. Carriker. The box is split into two sections, the first of which documents birds collected in Colombia, Curacao, and Trinidad and Tobago, and the second of which is only birds from Colombia. Dates for this item range from 1909-1921. The cards are organized by family and contain information such as date, species name, sex, numbers of specimens, specific locality, physical description, coloring, and additional notes.
