Abstract

This field book consists of the field notes of William R. Maxon, from field work in Maryland, Cuba, Jamaica, New York, and Panama, 1906-1917. Collector numbers 3901 through 6349 are included. Entries include: collector number, scientific name, locality, and date. Some entries include collecting locality notes (on rocks, trail, etc.). Localities include: Plummers Island (Maryland), Rio Bayamita (Cuba), Berraco (Cuba), Daiquiri (Cuba), Dios Ayuda (Cuba), Santa Ana (Cuba), Jaguey (Cuba), Guantanamo (Cuba), Mandeville (Jamaica), Oneida (New York), Lanham (Maryland), Agua Clara (Panama), Canal Zone (Panama), Chiriqui (Panama), and Boquete (Panama). Dates on the spine read 1906-1907, but contents reflect years 1906-1917.
