Abstract

This field catalog consists of a list of bird specimens collected by Melbourne A. Carriker from 1940-1947 in Mexico and Colombia. Dated entries for specimens include species name, specific locality, sex, and additional notes such as physical measurements, coloring, altitudes, specifics of collection site and situation, and weather observations. There are points within this book where journal-style entries give more specific collecting details. Field numbers range from 1-933 for Mexican specimens, and 934-11201 for Colombian specimens.
