Abstract

This folder contains maps showing distribution and abundance of Sula sula (red-footed booby) based on at-sea observations for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. Because there is no explanatory sheet in the folder, the dates (February 1963 - August 1965), creator, and interpretation of the maps are based on other items in the same series, Series 27 in SIA RU000245. Distribution and abundance data are represented by symbols, numbers, and colors added to printed maps of the central Pacific Ocean. Each map shows data from one calendar month, with one map for each month of the year. There is one hand-colored map and two uncolored maps for each month of the year. The map legends provide additional information on interpretation of the maps.
