Abstract

This binder contains a set of road maps of the eastern United States. Most maps are annotated with numbered locations and/or what appear to be routes of travel. Most maps are labeled with researcher name and year (1949, 1952-1954); researchers include Gibbs, Caswell, Suttkus, and Cole. Gibbs' field notes corresponding to some of the numbered locations on the maps can be found in related item, Gibbs, Robert H., Jr., 1948-1954.
