Abstract

This notebook details the field work of J. Philip Angle and David Bridge on their 1971 expedition to Isla de los Estados (Staten Island), Argentina aboard the R/V Hero. Dates for this field book range from April 12 - June 3, 1971 and other localities include but may not be limited to areas within the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego. The notebook consists of a bird and mammal specimen list with dated entries containing any or all of the following information: age, sex, preparation, name, locality, collector, number, weight, fat, preparator, iris, bill, feet, skull, reproductive anatomy, breeding data, molt, measurements, ecol. notes, stomach contents, parasites, blood, related specimen, USNM number, and additional remarks. Field numbers range from 187201-187684. Also contains some correspondence and other miscellaneous loose notes.
