Abstract

This item includes photocopied field notes of Kenneth E. Amerman, created during his work in 1964 and 1966 with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey. The materials document efforts to observe and band birds in various Pacific Island locations including Johnston Atoll and Marshall Islands. The notes document Amerman's daily narrative accounts of these efforts and include references to seabirds. Interspersed with the sequential narrative notes are worksheets with checklists of species and quantity observed.
