Abstract

The title page of this book reads "El Salvador" but collections are from Honduras and the United States. This field book consists of a list of plant specimens collected by P. C. Standley in Honduras and the United States (including Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin), 1928 to 1935. Collector numbers 55822 through 57507 are included. Entries list collector number, scientific name or common name, locality, and date. Some entries include collection note (on tree, on log, etc.), physical description of specimen (size, color, etc.). Localities include: Siguatepeque (Honduras), El Achiote (Honduras), Lancetilla (Honduras), Tela (Honduras), Port Chester (Indiana), Warsaw (Indiana), Chicago (Illinois), Milton (Wisconsin), and others. Some specimens were collected by Standley with Marbride, and with Doubleday.
