Abstract

This field book consists of a list of plant specimens collected by P. C. Standley in Costa Rica and Florida (United States), in 1926 and 1927. Collector numbers 51977 through 52502 are included. Entries list collector number, scientific name or common name, locality, and date. Some entries include collection note (on tree, on log, etc.), physical description of specimen (size, color, etc.). Determinations are included on right-hand pages of the book. Localities in Costa Rica include: Caricias, and Hamburg. Localities in Florida include: Ft. Myers, Pondilla, Naples, and Bonita Beach.
