Abstract

This field book consists of a list of plant specimens collected by P. C. Standley in Costa Rica, in 1925 and 1926. Collector numbers 42872 and 45285 are included. Entries list collector number, scientific name or common name, locality, and date. Some entries include collection note (moist thicket, dry field, etc.), physical description of specimen (size, color, etc.). Determinations are included on right-hand pages of the book. Localities include: Quebradillas, Santa Maria, Las Vueltas, Tilaran, Silencio, Libano, and El Arenal.
