Abstract

This notebook documents the field work of Frank Knowlton for the United States Geological Survey from July 10 - August 30, 1908. Localities include but may not be limited to areas within Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado. Dated daily entries include information on travel and daily activity, as well as distance measurements and accounts of plant and plant fossil specimen collecting. Terrain, soil, and rock information is also discussed, and there are a number of sketches present. There is also a list numbered 1-50 of specific localities collected in during the season of 1908.
