Abstract

This notebook details the field work of Frank Knowlton for the United States Geological Survey from July 7 - August 25, 1898. Localities include but may not be limited to areas within the state of Washington. Dated daily journal entries include travel details and daily activity, as well as accounts of uncovering and collecting plant and plant fossil specimens. Details are also provided on rocks and terrain, as well as descriptions of collecting sites. A sketch map is included as well.
