This field book consists of a list of plant specimens collected by P. C. Standley in Costa Rica and Panama, in 1925 and 1926. Collector numbers 40765 through 42871 are included. Entries list collector number, scientific name or common name, collection note (moist thicket, dry field, etc.), locality, and date. Localities in Panama include: Las Sabanas and Barro Colorado. Localities in Costa Rica include: San Jose, San Pedro Montes de Oca, Aserri, Tarbaca, Las Concavas, Santa Maria, and Laguna de la Escuadra.
